Oh so excited to share Sarah and Vincent’s wedding celebration at the Gibson’s Italia rooftop in Chicago!

These two are amazing souls! They’re kind, fun, and the perfect match. I’ve been thankful to get to know and love the Trump family since photographing Sarah’s sister Lyndsey’s engagement and wedding day. It makes me smile to think that I’ve been photographing this family for well over six years now! What an honor to be the one they trust to photograph such sweet, precious memories.

Sarah and Vincent shared a destination wedding day in Utah in late September. Fast forward two weeks and it was time to celebrate in the place they call home – Chicago – with their favorite people!

From the Couple

We met online. We love to travel. I had never been to Europe before meeting Vince and from our first trip, I now have the travel bug. We love exploring the world together and seeing the beautiful sights. We love trying to go to soccer matches while in Europe and closely follow soccer tournaments when at home. We are both athletic, love the outdoors, and just being together. Our wedding ceremony is in Park City Utah because my favorite time of year is fall and all the leaves changing colors. Vince grew up going to Park City and is an amazing skier. I am learning, but the best views are from the mountains. It’s breathtaking. Utah has stolen my heart, and I am so excited to get married there then celebrate in Chicago!

Favorite Part of the Planning Process

Favorite part?!?!? I just want to be together with all my favorite people in one place. Our wedding is more relaxed and I just want it to be enjoyable for everyone and to think of it as a relaxing vacation. I do not want to stress about anything.

Advice for Engaged Couples

Remember it is YOUR day. I think brides get so caught up in the thoughts of others and go overboard. Easier said than done, but it doesn’t matter what other people think because it’s for the bride and groom to remember.

The Wedding Day

Sarah and Vincent’s day was the most laid-back fun day in Chicago! I met them at their house in Chicago and was greeted by their adorable pup, a Frenchie named Puddles. He totally stole my heart and LOVED the camera. It was such a joy to walk into this wedding day knowing the family and already loving the amazing people that I would be photographing!

Since Sarah and Vincent had already tied the knot a couple of weekends prior to their Chicago celebration, they were so relaxed and excited for this day. I photographed a few quick details before we headed out to the skyline for a few photos. It was quite the windy afternoon (hi Chicago!) but we were thankful for a gorgeous October day! I loved bopping around the city for photos of these two newlyweds before making our way to their wedding at Gibson’s Italia.

Sarah and Vincent chose the rooftop at Gibson’s Italia for their wedding celebration, and it did not disappoint! The space, views, and romantic vibe were top-notch. I loved getting to be a fly on the wall throughout the evening and taking candid photos that I hope they’ll cherish forever.
