Yay, Kylie and Noah’s wedding day at Town & Country Events is making its way to the blog! We’ll be gushing over this day for many years to come.
You probably remember these two from their destination engagement session (including ice cream and the beach!) last summer. They might also be familiar faces from another wedding we photographed a few years back! Brittany and Braden’s wedding introduced us to this couple (they’re cousins!), and we’re forever thankful for that. Plus, getting to see Brittany again as Kylie’s matron of honor on her wedding day was a joy!
I’m over the moon excited to share more of Kylie and Noah’s fall wedding day!
From the Couple
Noah and I met in 2017 at work. We got hired at Bickford of Bourbonnais (an assisted living home) just one month apart while still in school. Even though we didn’t end up dating for a couple of years, I knew on that day I was going to marry him. During my last semester at college, I came home one weekend and in the very spot where we met, he kissed me and that was it.
We’ve known since day one that we were meant to be together, so it was only a matter of time before we got engaged. After lots of looking, we picked out the perfect ring together. He proposed at my parents’ house in front of my mom, dad, and brother – it was perfect!
Advice for Future Engaged Couples – Never. Ever. Settle.
The Wedding Day
Kylie and Noah’s wedding day was a gorgeous 75-degree fall day… We never guessed their late October wedding would be that warm, but we were thankful! The fall colors (fall is Kylie’s favorite season!) were at their peak and despite a little wind (read: a lot of wind), the weather was perfect.
The day started with everyone getting ready at the venue – Town & Country Events in Milford. We always love weddings at Town & Country. The venue is beautiful, rustic, and spacious, and there’s just something about the small-town kindness that surrounds you. Fun Fact – this was the first wedding we’ve documented with both photo and video at Town & Country, too!
As Kylie and Noah got ready for the day ahead, everyone was buzzing with excitement. Kylie is one of the most laid-back and trusting brides I’ve ever had, and it makes my heart happy. We were the perfect fit working together, and I loved being able to walk alongside Kylie and Noah in photos throughout their entire wedding day. Celebrating and loving these two is easy!
Once Kylie slipped into her dress and shared a moment with her dad, it was time for the first look. Kylie and Noah shared a first look tucked inside and away from the wind. I know they’ll always cherish those sweet moments. After that, we made our way outside for wedding party photos.
I love working with my husband Kyle on wedding days, but I especially love when Kyle steps in to make the best creative decisions. Kyle and I went to school in Milford, so we’re familiar with the small town, and he chose the very best photo spot. We made our way down the street a few blocks to document the couple and wedding party on Jones Street. They were surrounded by the best fall colors, light, and no wind. It was perfection!
After photos and wedding party fun, we made our way back to Town & Country for the ceremony. Kylie and Noah shared a wedding ceremony surrounded by loved ones. It was especially sweet to see them tie a rope knot at their unity ceremony. Then, it was time to catch the sunset and celebrate!
Kylie and Noah are the best people. They’re kind, compassionate, and fun to be around. One of the things I loved most about their wedding day was how it was about their love but so much about the people in their life who love them. Kylie and Noah truly made the day about incorporating and honoring the special people in their life, and we’ll never forget that. They are selfless and loving, and we know they will have a beautiful marriage together.
