Yay, Daniela and Andrew’s romantic August wedding at The Mora Farm is on the blog today!
I connected with Daniela and Andrew at the start of 2020 after they got engaged. One of our amazing past couples, Kristin and David, shared our work with Daniela and Andrew… And it’s so fun that Andrew was in the wedding party on their big day! It’s a joy to connect to couples through other couples, and I will never take for granted that part of my job!
I’m honored to share more about Daniela and Andrew’s wedding day!
From the Couple
We originally met through Bumble. Our first date was a spur of the moment where I met up with him at Grapes & Hops after a really rough day at work. After meeting, our love just grew. A few months later, we took a trip to Tennessee where we ended up saying we loved each other for the first time. The proposal was very intimate. I walked up to his house and there were notes (on Rae Dunn font which is my absolute favorite) and rose petals leading me to him where I then found him on one knee. We adore our doggies Bella, Leia, and Simba. We enjoy being outdoors, swimming, hiking, craft beer, and being with family.
The Wedding Day
The day started with everyone getting ready on-site at The Mora Farm. Times of clouds (no rain, yay!) and sun filled the afternoon, and it was a warm summer day. The perfect day for an outdoor wedding!
After everyone was ready to go, Daniela and Andrew shared a sweet first look under the big trees on the farm. It was an intimate, romantic, and sweet moment that these two shared. Once the first look wrapped, it was wedding party photo time! We explored The Mora Farm for photos and had so many beautiful spots to choose from. I loved how their vision for a rustic and romantic wedding day came together at the venue, too.
Before we knew it, it was time for Daniela and Andrew to walk down the aisle and get married! My very favorite part of the day was their wedding ceremony… Daniela and Andrew chose to marry one another and their cultures by having the ceremony take place in both English and Spanish. Daniela is Colombian (we’ve loved connecting with her family on this as our brother-in-law is from Colombia!) and it was a joy to see so many of her Colombian family members celebrating alongside the couple. Goodness, this sentiment of their wedding day still makes me teary-eyed!
After the ceremony, everyone was ready to celebrate the newlyweds! Daniela and Andrew danced the night away with their loved ones, and we even got to sneak out for a few sunset photos before our coverage ended for the day. We adore this couple and loved playing a part in their wedding day!
