Eeeek… This is one of those things you might *not* think about leading up to your wedding day. The flowers – aka bouts and bouquets – MUST be delivered to the church or ceremony venue, right? Actually, here’s a tip that’s a little easier than this idea…
I always recommend that the bouts and bouquets are delivered to the couple at their getting ready location(s) during earlier parts of the day (before the first look or photos begin), so that these two can have flowers in their pre-ceremony portraits. Plus, we can also take detail photos including the shoes, jewelry, rings, and more while incorporating the bouts + bouquets. The bouquet is a statement detail of the day that compliments the dress, decor, and overall style, so it SHOULD be in lots of photos! One of the last things you want to worry about on your wedding day is… Where are the flowers?
[P.S. Your amazing florist will guide you on timing of this special wedding day delivery, too!]
And not to worry, if we’re facing warm weather or extremely delicate flowers, we’ll be sure to keep the bouquets in water as much as possible before (and after) the ceremony!
