My last wedding of 2023 was a beautiful fall day at the Westin Chicago Northwest!
Say hello to Lauren and Kyle! These two met at work and became best friends before falling in love. In December 2021, they got engaged on vacation in Scottsdale. Since then, they’ve been planning details for their fall 2023 wedding day. These two found my work last summer when they were searching for wedding photos at their venue.
I’m excited to share this wedding day on the blog!
From The Couple
This November marked seven years together. We met working together and quickly became close friends. Kyle proposed in Scottsdale. We love to travel together and spend time with family and friends. We love our dog, a Yorkie named Bear.
The Wedding Day
Lauren and Kyle’s wedding day started with everyone getting ready at the venue before the day’s festivities began. After everyone was ready, Lauren and Kyle shared a sweet first look before the wedding party and family joined them for photos.
Once all of those photos wrapped up, I loved sneaking away and spending some time with just Lauren and Kyle. We made our way to Busse Woods for photos of just the couple, and those moments did not disappoint. The fall foliage was picturesque and beautifully complimented this couple!
Then, it was time to get these two married! Lauren and Kyle shared an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. I loved how the minimal, classic, and black & white vibes were showcased throughout their ceremony, decor, and reception celebration later in the day.
It was so fun to see some of the special touches throughout this day that focused on Lauren and Kyle’s favorite guy – their puppy Bear! We loved taking photos with Bear and loved the drink picks and custom cake decor that featured Bear. Too cute!
At the end of the day, the fall colors really showed up for this Westin Chicago Northwest wedding day. I loved getting to photograph this special day for Lauren and Kyle as they were surrounded by their closest loved ones. This was truly the most beautiful day, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to end the 2023 wedding season!
