I’m so excited to share Tania and Zachary’s wedding day at Hamilton Walker’s in Champaign!

Tania and I go way back – all the way to 2018 when we collaborated on a styled shoot together. I remember so clearly how her joy and light filled the room, and let me tell you… That same joy is just as contagious today. When she reached out about photographing her wedding day, it felt like such a full-circle moment. It was truly an honor to celebrate these two and document such a meaningful chapter in their story.

From the Couple

We became a couple back in 2015 when we were co-workers. After almost 11 years together, we often forget (along with everyone else!) that we aren’t already married. Life has been full in the best way ever since. We are a close-knit family with our children. This season may be busy, but it’s also so special.

The Wedding Day

Tania and Zachary’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of who they are — intentional, relaxed, and centered around what matters most. Their vision was simple: a small, intimate celebration with their favorite people, and they brought that to life so beautifully. After their courthouse wedding day, we met up for photos and celebration, and it was perfect.

Rather than a large guest list, they chose to gather just 25 of their closest family and friends and treat them to an incredible dining experience filled with meaningful conversation and connection. It felt less like a traditional wedding and more like the most special dinner party — the kind where you never want the evening to end.

Hamilton Walker’s set the tone perfectly with its warm, slightly speakeasy feel. The vibe of the space added such a unique charm to the celebration, paired with the candlelight and red rose petals. It was elegant and romantic, but still completely true to their “nothing fancy, just love” approach.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Tania’s outfit change into a chic white jumpsuit for the reception. It was such a fun, modern twist and fit her personality perfectly — effortless, stylish, and a little unexpected in the best way.

Throughout the entire day, what stood out most was the heart behind it all. This wasn’t about putting on a big production. It was about celebrating a relationship that has already been built over years of love, laughter, and real life together. It was about family, about blending lives, and about choosing each other again and again.
