What a beautiful summer evening with the Guynn family! This was my very first time photographing them, and it was such a joy to capture this sweet season of anticipation as they prepare to welcome their little one later this summer. We’re all already excited for their newborn session coming up next – it’s always so special to document the journey from bump to baby!
When it comes to planning maternity photos, I often get asked: When is the best time to schedule maternity photos? My recommendation is to reach out during your second trimester to get on the calendar and aim for your maternity photos to take place between 28 – 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, you’ll likely have a beautiful, defined bump while still feeling comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience. Planning in this window also gives us a little cushion in case baby decides to arrive earlier than expected! Maternity sessions are such a wonderful way to pause and soak in this fleeting season before your family grows.
To the Guynn family – thank you for letting me capture this chapter of your story. I can’t wait to see you again soon with your sweet baby in your arms!
