Last September, I shared a breathtaking styled shoot for the grand opening of Vintage Oaks Banquet Barn in Delphi, Indiana… Goodness, Haley is going places with VOBB, and I have to share her dream with you!

This year, SERVE is my “word”, and Haley is truly someone who embodies service to others and her community tenfold. Time and time again, I am reminded of the power of serving others in our daily lives and tasks and missions. Haley and I met via email toward the beginning of 2016, but we felt like we already “knew” each other coming from small neighboring towns. From the start, I knew Haley had a beautiful heart and she simply wanted to share her mission + dream of a gathering space for joy and celebration with others.

I wrote this before, and I’ll write it again… As soon as I heard about Haley’s project and dream to open an event venue, I knew exactly how she was feeling with a passion, a spark, and a drive to serve others. It’s truly a beautiful thing! She told me of how her dream started – read more here – and what she was praying it would become. The barn (built in 1837) restoration project started in the summer of 2015. As I’ve come to know Haley and had many conversations, I am always in awe with her positivity, strength, faith in the Lord, and forward thinking nature. Myself, and I’m sure many other family + friends, have enjoyed following Haley, her husband Jake, and her boys on this journey.
