Remember sweet Taylor’s senior session? Well, the day after her senior session in Texas, I had the opportunity to work with her again, but this time it included her parents and siblings!

When booking, planning, and traveling for sessions, I always hope for the best in terms of weather, but you never know what you’re going to get! Earlier in the week before flying south, I checked the weather obsessively just to be prepared for what the forecast was predicted to be for the session days. Earlier in the week the weather was calling for beautiful skies and less than a 10% chance of rain… “YAY” is what I was thinking! Well, Saturday morning came and was beautiful, but that afternoon the sky darkened and started sprinkling rain.

Luckily, the Thompson family session was scheduled for the perfect time and nearly as soon as we arrived at the session location in downtown McKinney, Texas, the rain moved aside, the sky brightened, and the sun started shining!

Like I said before, you never know what you are going to get, but you just roll with it and it pushes me even further to be creative. I loved working with this family, talking with the kiddos, and enjoying the lovely weather!
