Today, I’m sharing photos with some familiar faces to my blog followers! Remember Derek and Erin’s engagement session and wedding? Well, Erin’s family welcomed me to Worden, Illinois a few weeks ago to photograph the family – what fun!

This family is full of life. I think that’s the best way I can find to describe them… They are happy, joyous, and truly take advantage of their time with one another. With grown children living throughout the state, it’s so important to cherish all the time you get to spend together. And they sure do!

The finishing touches were added to the tree swing on the morning of this session, and it was incredibly meaningful to incorporate a family quilt into the photos, too. I loved capturing all of their personalities, and it was an especially fun weekend with a birthday celebration in the family, too! All of these people are so welcoming and loving to me as their photographer, and it truly warms my heart!
