On my last trip to Texas, I photographed three sessions, and the weather was beautiful! See the first session from my trip, here.
My second session was with the Ridgeway kids – Grace, Claire, and Joe – and they were a delight to work with! All three of them were welcoming, relaxed, and fun to be around. Grace and Claire are twins and needed sixteen year photos, while Joe is two years younger and joined us for a few more photos. I enjoyed talking with them about school and their summer plans since school is almost out!
On our way to our session location, we chatted about how where they live now is different from where I grew up. I told them how there isn’t a gas station in my hometown, so you have to drive over 10 minutes to fill up your tank. I also told them about how many students were in my entire high school and entire town – under 200 in HS and under 1000 in my hometown – and they were very surprised to say the least! But, even though the areas we lived in were different, we found similarity in the strong community aspect of the different areas. It was just so fun to chat with them and compare!
This session was very lighthearted and laid-back, which I think was perfect for these three siblings. Their personalities came out in the photos, and I think they have one happy mama now that she has these memories to display on the walls!
