Just before Thanksgiving, I traveled to southern Illinois for a weekend that included photos and fun!

The Polczynski family session brought me so much joy. This family was kind, welcoming, and trusting of me, and they were so laid-back and easy going! My best friend Alexis connected me to the Polczynski family as she is marrying one of their sons… I am so thankful that a person special to me helped make this connection that turned into an opportunity to build more relationships!

The thing I loved the most about this session was realizing the importance of family sessions when your family is at any stage in life… Maybe your kids are young and your family is still growing, maybe your kids are finding themselves and midway through school, or maybe your kids are grown-up working hard, finding their paths, and moving toward starting their own family units.

This was so true for the Polczynski family – they are a family of 5, but they are still “growing” and changing! They have a son in college, daughter that teaches, and their oldest son will be married in 2018. These times are ever so important to take time to document your family, too!
