I just cannot believe I’m sharing these photos with you… My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are expecting a sweet baby boy, and we cannot wait to meet him!

You probably remember Derek and Erin from their engagement, wedding, and other family photos that I’ve previously taken. These two can’t get rid of me as their photographer! Ha!

Everything leading up to this session was joyful… From planning the date + location to picking out and coordinating Erin + Derek’s outfits – these two were just so so excited! As they should be! And I felt so honored to be the one to document this extremely monumental moment in their married life and growing family together.

And even while the day of their session was FREEZING cold outside (literally) and a bit windy, the sun came out! They thought I was crazy with my bursting excitement over the sun coming out, but I was literally just so very excited! This fall season has been so unpredictable, so this sweet blessing on the day of their maternity session all about the bump and soon-to-be new baby boy was a wonderful sign from above and absolutely perfect.
