I love this family!

It’s true, it’s not often that I photograph newborns, but the DeBolt family has been with me since before I officially started my business, and they are so very special to me. I have documented their growing family for years and years, and I hope to for many many more!

Earlier this summer when we were planning their annual September family session, Erin and I chatted with excitement about their new little baby boy that would be arriving at the end of October. Of course, I said yes to documenting these first photos of their new little man, Clayton Joshua, in their home. And I’m so glad I did!

I loved taking a lifestyle, laid-back approach for these images and documenting all of Clay’s newborn goodness at ten days old. But best of all? I was overjoyed while photographing this new family of FOUR. I even loved talking with Oaklyn (who just seems SO grown up now!) about the day that I photographed her very own newborn photos.

Goodness, this job brings so much joy all around!
