On the weekend following Thanksgiving, I had a different kind of photo session… I was one of the members of the family actually photographed at the session!

You see, I come from a large, and growing, family, and we have not had family photos since 2009. There are three families – The Conleys, The Hoovers, and The Conrads – that started with all of our parents as family and friends and has grown to all of us kids (and puppies) becoming family and friends. We needed updated photos because lots of things can change in six years… Marriages, babies, and adding four-legged friends to the family!

Our session took place at my Aunt and Uncle’s home just outside of Woodland, Illinois. They have a cabin and pond surrounded by such beautiful scenery. Special thanks to my cousin, Sara, for taking over the camera and capturing my family and I together that day!
