Summer Six-Month Milestone Photographer | The Diaz Family

Lucy’s six-month milestone session was a total hoot – and if you’ve met our niece Lucy, you already know why! This little lady has allll the personality. She’s sweet, sassy, and knows how to light up a room. We just adore her, and getting to photograph this milestone was such a joy! I’m always a fan of photographing families throughout Iroquois County and Kankakee County.

This June, I photographed my sister’s family to celebrate Lucy turning six months old. And while Lucy gave us plenty of giggles and sweet expressions, it was big sister Sofia who truly stole the show behind the scenes. She was such a helper throughout the session, doing all the silly things to get Lucy to look at the camera, smile, and show off that bold little personality. I think the sister photos are my very favorites. Watching their bond form and grow is such a gift.

What made this session even more special was the setting — we photographed it at our aunt and uncle’s beautiful property in Iroquois County, a place full of love and family memories. It felt so meaningful to document this moment at this location, surrounded by nature and connection.

Getting to watch our nieces grow and capturing these milestones for them is something I’ll never take for granted. These moments feel personal, full of emotion and legacy. It’s such a privilege to freeze them in time. Lucy, we love you so much and can’t wait to see who you continue becoming!
