In the middle of what’s likely our busiest wedding season ever, I’m thankful for the moments – and the people and the stories – that force me to pause. These moments help me to feel so much gratitude and joy. Today, I’m honored to share Hannah and Collin’s engagement photos at Allerton Park & Retreat Center and share more about their story on the blog!
Meet Hannah and Collin! They found my work after getting engaged and searching for engagement photos at Allerton Park & Retreat Center – love it!
We recently met for engagement photos to celebrate their engagement and a beautiful new season in their life together. These two have known each other since high school. But it wasn’t until their college years at ISU that they reconnected and hit it off immediately. Before they knew it, they started dating… Now, they’ve been together for eight years and got engaged in December 2020.
Hannah and Collin are looking forward to this season of engagement ahead as well as a beautiful next chapter where Collin is in remission from cancer. He’s been battling cancer since September 2019. Just a few weeks ago was given the news that he’s in remission. I love that this session was a way to celebrate their engagement AND freeze a moment in time in their story and life together. What a beautiful triumph and reason to celebrate life and love!
We were thankful for a gorgeous early June evening for photos and Allerton Park & Retreat Center didn’t disappoint, as usual! After spending only two hours with this couple last night, they feel like friends. I quickly knew without a doubt that Hannah and Collin have been and will always be each others’ rock.
Hannah and Collin inspire me, and I’m so honored to share these photos and celebrate this amazing couple!
