When you turn one and celebrate with cake and photos at the studio… Drake’s one-year milestone session was the sweetest!

This boy has my heart. I loved spending time with Drake and his big brother Kade last week at the studio. From big smiles to messy cake fun, every moment was a reminder of why I adore capturing milestone sessions like this. Turning one is such a special milestone – full of personality, joy, and (of course!) cake.

What makes this session even more meaningful is the story behind it. I’ve photographed all of the Witzman boys’ milestones, and it truly doesn’t get any better. Being able to walk alongside families through the years – from newborn snuggles to first birthdays and beyond – is one of the greatest joys of my work.
