Studio Newborn Photographer in Kankakee | The Jacobson Family

I first met the Jacobson family in 2023 when Briggs was just 18 months old at holiday mini sessions. Fast forward a year and a half, and they’ve grown into the sweetest family of four with the arrival of their baby girl, Parker.

We celebrated this special season with a newborn session at my natural light photography studio in downtown Kankakee. Baby Parker was a dream and slept for the entire session. That’s what newborn session dreams are made of, trust me! One of my favorite moments from the session was watching big brother Briggs light up as he held his sister. That proud smile melted my heart!

Newborn sessions like this are such a joy to photograph. They’re filled with soft snuggles, tiny details, and the excitement of welcoming a new little life. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, these early days are fleeting, and I love preserving them in a timeless way for families to look back on for years to come.
