You guys, I am so excited to share Shelby and Tim’s engagement session! These two are one of my 2017 couples, and they are the best!

Shelby and Tim are the kind of people that you cannot help but feel joyous around. They are sweet, charismatic, and madly in love with one another!

I’ve known Shelby for as long as I can remember since we grew up a couple years apart in school and in the same hometown. Shelby’s kindness has always been contagious, and her style is impeccable, so I was ecstatic about her outfit choices for the session! Goodness, they were fabulous!

These two met during their undergraduate studies while working on campus at the University of Illinois. After dating during undergrad and grad/law school, Shelby and Tim have found their home in downtown Chicago. A few months ago, Tim proposed to Shelby along Lake Michigan after dinner and a ferris wheel ride – how romantic!

They love exploring sights and food throughout the city together. And… They’ve adopted an adorable rescue pup named Wells after the street they live on in the city! I could not even handle the cuteness of this pup! So what’s the icing on the cake? They adopted their pup from the same place we adopted our Georgie girl… Totally melts my heart! Maybe a play date should be in order?! 😉

I loved exploring the Riverwalk in downtown Chicago for their session. The warm fall weather of this season was still lingering in the air, and the sunset against the cityscape was just gorgeous…
