Friends, I am loving how this Project 52 (so far!) is pushing me to get out my camera more often for life’s moments…

When I first started this project, I told myself this lie – You’ll run out of things to photograph in your life… You only have a dog, and you don’t have kids, so this will get boring really quickly. Well, I’m here to tell you that I was wrong! This project is pushing me outside of my comfort zone and encouraging me to document our LIFE and our right now. I am a photographer, and it’s sometimes silly that I don’t take the time to document our life more often with the “big camera”. I’m quickly learning that it isn’t a big deal to just grab my camera with one lens, throw it in my purse, and GO! 

Over the past 9 weeks of this year, here is a look at some of the moments I’ve photographed in our life on a weekly basis… From the ski trip to morning coffee with Kyle to my snow loving Georgie girl to a brewery launch day with my favorite guys to finding my hubby baking in the kitchen to our evening games of UNO and to so much more.

I am loving this little project! It’s so good for my soul and shifting my center and focus and energy to finding (and documenting) the sweet little moments in this season of our life. It’s truly the little things in life that make me happy!
