One-Year Milestone Session | The Diaz Family

The Diaz family session was one of the sweetest ways to wrap up my 2025 studio sessions!

Capturing our niece Lucy’s one-year milestone felt extra special because this girl truly has our hearts. Lucy is sassy, sweet when she wants to be, and absolutely full of personality. She keeps everyone on their toes, and it was so fun to see all of that shine during her session.

One-year milestone sessions are such a beautiful way to celebrate this season, and Lucy’s session is a perfect example of how they can also double as family sessions. While Lucy was the star of the show, we made time to capture updated family photos, sweet sibling moments, and special images of big sister, too. These sessions are about telling the full story of your family right now, not just marking a birthday.

Watching Lucy explore the studio, show off her expressions, and interact with her family was such a reminder of why I love photographing this stage. One-year-olds bring the best energy, curiosity, and unpredictability to sessions, and Lucy embraced it all. This session was equal parts joyful, silly, and heartfelt, and I would not have had it any other way!
