As we really step into this year and I look back on all of the past years of business, the network of my clients and friends never fails to amaze me. This newborn and family session at the studio made me reflect on just that…
One of the very best parts of my job as a wedding and family photographer is the connections and relationships build with my clients. Again and again and again. Photographing engagements and weddings and maternity and newborn and family milestones for my lifer clients while connecting with and getting to do life with my camera in hand for their loved ones, friends, and family, too… It’s the highest compliment and one that I don’t take lightly. Thinking back on all these years of photos and building relationships with the best people truly warms my heart.
The Balthazor family is one of those families! I photographed Holly & Kolton’s wedding several years ago and met their friends Caitlin and Michael. From there, I’ve photographed both family’s important milestones, and it is the best.
My latest session with the Balthazor family was a special one! Baby Rory just joined the Balthazor crew, and he could not be sweeter! I loved welcoming this family to the studio for this newborn session and documenting these fleeting moments with their newest little one. These photos of newborn baby Rory, big brother Macaulay, and their parents have my heart. Oh, and ask me how I got those big smiles out of big brother!
