August was one for the books!

The past month FLEW by. And yes, I know today is the second Monday of the new month and my recap is a week late, but with last week’s holiday and my hubby’s bday I made an exception to push this post back 🙂

We started the month of August with my parents’ wedding anniversary and my best friend’s wedding weekend… SO FUN! It was so great to be on the other side of a wedding as a bridesmaid, too! So, so happy for the newlyweds. After the wedding weekend, Kyle and I got to work on new projects around the house… Mostly painting my office blush PINK (yes, it’s fabulous!), hanging decor on the walls, and organizing throughout our new place. I’m forever thankful for a hubby that will hang up a gallery wall for me!

This August, we also photographed two weddings (one in CHI and one in Indy!), gathered our family for photos, and even had a little more fun going to our favorite place, G&H, for date night and a Sox game with Brickstone Brewery. We rounded out the month and summer with a couple pool days, a trip to Don’s Drive-In, a few sessions, and a Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert. Thanks to my hubby for treating me to see one of my favorites!
