Two months down, ten to go! Wait, what? Did I JUST say that?

Welcome March! The past month of February was rejuvenating for me, and that’s the best way I can describe it. My husband returned from his deployment at the very end of January, so we soaked up February days during his leave. Honestly, we didn’t go on any trips or exploring, but enjoyed simple things like puppy snuggles, catching up on our shows, snuggles on the couch, and dinner dates with each other and family and friends. Of course there were a handful of sessions + the bridal expo! We ran around a lot this month to see so many of our family and friends after he had been gone for 7 months.

And, we tried to figure out our new normal after being apart – that’s tough but worth it! Working from home + having your hubby home for a solid month is a blessing and a curse… I kid, well, kind of! HA!

After this February came to a close, I truly realized how thankful I am for this business and lifestyle I am living with my spouse. I was able to cater my business to spending DAYS with my husband after a deployment. So many people don’t get that… I didn’t have to ask my boss for days off to have this time, and this is incredibly invaluable to me.

So, here’s to March and the start of spring + wedding season! We are so excited for the month ahead!
