Hello, happy Wedding Wednesday! 

Today, we are talking bridesmaids dresses! I’ll be 100% honest… As the mismatched bridesmaid dress trend has grown and gained popularity over the past few years, I am continually in LOVE! I’ve photographed countless weddings where the couple chose mismatched bridesmaid dresses for the ladies and while they are mismatched, they all flow together with links to other details throughout the wedding day and of course, they all photograph beautifully.

Best of all? Mismatched bridesmaid dresses allow each lady to choose a style that fits her style and body, so she feels comfortable in her skin. I LOVE IT!

When choosing bridesmaids dresses – to mismatch or not to mismatch – I think it’s important to consider the overall style and feel you want your wedding day to have. Sometimes having your bridesmaids in the same dress, style, and color is the best option, while other times it is more fitting to have your bridesmaids wear a style and/or color that is fitting for them while still tying into the overall wedding style.
