These two… I absolutely loved working with them. They are fun, lighthearted, and SO in love!

I knew that these two would be fun to work with when Mindi told me that one of the most important parts of her day was to document all of the fun that people are having throughout the day. From this, I was absolutely sure that they would be surrounded by love and support.

I met them last fall for their engagement photography session in Watseka, Illinois. We were able to incorporate Andy’s involvement with the fire department and their doggies – I am a softie for the pups!

So, Mindi and Andrew started off my wedding season this year on the last weekend of April. Regardless of the rain, their day was beautiful with their ceremony at Milford Christian Church in Milford, Illinois and their reception at Turtle Run Golf Club in Danville, Illinois.

On their wedding day, I was not going to let them get wet outdoors, but we did manage to find an awning to take outdoor photos while it rained all around. Of course, I braved the rain, and I am so happy with how well those photos reflect Mindi and Andrew’s happiness on their wedding day.

AND… These two had the most EPIC cake smash that I have ever seen. You’ll agree with me when you see it below!
