Meet Neiry and Tyler! A couple of weeks ago we met up for engagement photos at Milton Lee Olive Park, and it was a blast!

I connected with Neiry and Tyler last year through our friends, Joe and Michaela. We hit it off from the start, and we’re looking forward to documenting their fall wedding this year! And the cherry on top is that our friend, Michaela, is also Neiry and Tyler’s florist for the day. It’s such a joy to serve and care for couples alongside your dear friends on wedding days!

Neiry and Tyler met in college. Tyler was involved in the art department, and Neiry did theater. She had a crush on him since her second year in college, and they both had mutual friends. Neiry finally reached out to see if their relationship could grow, and the rest is history. Last year, Tyler proposed on the Fourth of July. He chose that particular holiday because he knows that family is the most important thing to Neiry and that that is the first holiday her family gets together on before Thanksgiving. He proposed with roses shaped like a heart and a mariachi. Now, they’ve shared countless adventures together, have welcomed their beautiful son into the world, and are planning their fall 2022 wedding day together!

For their engagement session, we met up in mid-April in downtown Chicago. Neiry and Tyler call Chicago home, so it was only fitting that we took photos in the city. These two have been photographed many times (my first time photographing them though was this session, yay!) which made their session even more fun. They were naturals in front of the camera! We met at the Wrigley Building to start their session before moving to the skyline. Our second stop was Milton Lee Olive Park for iconic Chicago skyline engagement photos. I loved this session, and the time spent with Neiry and Tyler so much!

We’re looking forward to documenting Neiry and Tyler’s dream fall wedding later this year!
