Fall FINALLY showed up… A little later than usual but beautiful nonetheless! I loved meeting up with Natalie and Colin in their neighborhood, Logan Square, for engagement photos a few weeks ago!

Natalie and Colin are high school sweethearts – my heart! They fell in love in the summer of 2013, and Colin asked Natalie to be his girlfriend at Lollapalooza. They’ve grown up together and continued to choose each other throughout their long-distance college years. Now they’re engaged and call Chicago home with their new puppy Avett by their side!

On the October evening of their engagement photos, it was perfect. The weather was 70-something, and it was the first day that the fall colors really started showing off. We met in Logan Square and wandered around the neighborhood for photos. Natalie’s mom joined us, too, to help with Avett – so, so sweet! And gosh, you’re going to swoon over the puppy photos. I know I did then and still am!

We had a blast chatting, laughing, and getting to know each other better throughout their session. We explored their neighborhood together, and I loved capturing the vibes of Logan Square from the fall trees and cute sidewalks to the greystone buildings and iron fences. Before we knew it, the sun was close to setting! Those are the best engagement sessions – when you’re having too much fun that the time flies by!

I’m forever thankful that our wedding industry friend, Sarah Kathleen Events, connected Natalie and Colin with our work. Their Logan Square engagement session was a blast and makes me even more excited for their summer 2022 wedding day!
