Over the past few months, I have enjoyed getting to know Lisa and Mark as they plan their March 2017 wedding day… And after their original engagement session date was rained out earlier this fall, we were SO THANKFUL for a gorgeous fall day + sunset on their rescheduled session date!

These two met through mutual friends in November 2013 while living out of state. Lisa’s best friend’s husband worked with Mark and knew they would be the perfect pair… And they are! Lisa told me that from the first time they met, she knew it was something special. Over the years, they grew closer, fell more in love, and became a family with one another’s friends. In October 2016, Mark proposed to Lisa and secretly had a family friend taking photos of the sweet moment in their story. After the proposal, Lisa and Mark moved back to Illinois where he grew up, bought and house, and made their house a home!

Lisa and Mark are such kind souls. They are easy going and just go with the flow people, and I LOVE them! Their personalities mesh so well together, and I am honored to be their wedding photographer.
