Jessica and AJ are just too sweet! I loved photographing their engagement session, and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day next June!
Last November, I met Jessica when I photographed her sister Mindi’s engagement photos. Jessica came along for the beginning of the session before having to leave for work. Little did I know, Mindi’s wedding would connect us and that I would be her wedding photographer, too!
Soon after Mindi’s wedding in April, Jessica contacted me and said that she knew she wanted me as her engagement and wedding photographer after working with me during her sister’s wedding. I was honored!
Here’s a special fact about Jessica and AJ’s upcoming wedding… They chose the date of June 11, 2016 because June 12, 2016 will be the 60th wedding anniversary of the bride’s grandparents. How sweet! See, I told you these two were the sweetest!
Jessica and I have been emailing back and forth to plan their engagement session, and on the day of their session the day started out a bit dreary and it was even misting rain that morning! Lo and behold, the weather perked up and we managed to have a super successful engagement session! I loved photographing these two in locations that meant something to the two of them – the fire station AJ volunteers at and their family farm. These are little things that make me love my job even more!
I absolutely loved incorporating harvest and a corn field near this couple’s farm house into their session. I’ve been waiting for some corn photos and these are lovely!
Jessica and AJ – Thank you for having such a fun engagement session with me! I loved working with you two, laughing, and getting to know each of you better! I’m so excited for your wedding day! XOXOXO
