Hey, I’m Kara!
I'm a family photographer and studio owner based in Kankakee, Illinois. My joy is helping families pause, celebrate, and remember life’s milestones – from new babies to growing little ones, and all the in-between moments.

Whether you’re looking back on your wedding day or looking ahead to yours, the little details always count!

Consider this… Your wedding photos will be one of the few tangible ways you will be able to relive your wedding day and will become family heirlooms themselves. So, shouldn’t these photographic memories include family heirlooms too?

Maybe you’ll wear your grandmother’s jewelry, incorporate a family cross at the altar, or sew a patch of your grandfather’s shirt into your dress. Whatever you choose, I think it’s important to consider this detail and including special heirlooms in your wedding day. You and your story are built off of these people and heirlooms in your life, so it’s important to add these special touches to your day!
