I can’t believe that this year’s fall mini sessions at Governor Small Memorial Park have already been here and gone!
This fall, I had the honor of photographing eight different sessions at my fall mini session date at Governor Small Memorial Park in Kankakee. This park is in our neighborhood and very quickly became a favorite. It’s where I walk the dogs many times each week and where we walk down and play outside with our nieces and nephews when they’re visiting. Governor Small Memorial Park has gorgeous, mature trees, a column garden, and beautiful light… All the heart eyes and making this photographer’s heart happy!
The weather was absolutely PERFECT for these sessions. It was a 60-degree, sunny, beautiful day. I couldn’t have been more grateful for the amazing weather.
I always love hosting spring, holiday, and fall mini sessions throughout the year. It’s a joy to get to see and catch up with my lifer clients and a great opportunity to meet some new faces, too. Truly, being a Kankakee County family photographer and sharing a place I love with my clients makes me so happy. The fall colors, leaves on the ground, and beautiful fall day really did make for a great day filled with photos!
