Fall is here, and it’s been a full season – that’s for sure! This fall travel session to Diamond Lake did not disappoint!
It’s been a joy to photograph the Sverdlik family since Sarah and Gene got engaged in 2018 and married in 2019! I still remember meeting them for the first time, taking their fall engagement photos, and photographing their beautiful summer wedding day. They are some of the best people, and I feel grateful to call them clients and friends.
Life looks a little different than it did five years ago when I met this couple, but they wouldn’t have it any other way. We met at Diamond Lake in Mundelein for this year’s family session. A little rain in the forecast tried to dampen our session and plans, but the weather cleared up quickly and made for a successful session. The kiddos were full of smiles, giggles, and fun throughout the photos, too! I always tell my clients with little ones that photos often feel like chaos (and that’s okay!), but we always capture beautiful, genuine moments in between.
Spending the evening with the cutest, kindest family of four this fall filled my cup up!
