Fall Maternity Photos in Bourbonnais | The Robinson Family

My latest session with the Robinson family did not disappoint! These faces are probably familiar around here! I get to photograph the Robinsons a couple of times each year, and it’s always such a joy. This session was extra special, though, as they’re preparing to welcome a little girl this winter!

We met at one of my favorite hidden gems in Kankakee County (the beautiful Davis Creek!) and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The fall colors were showing off, the light was beautiful, and it felt like the best way to celebrate this sweet season for their growing family.

I always tell expecting mamas that the best time to schedule maternity photos is once you’re in your second trimester. I typically recommend planning your session between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy – that sweet spot where you’re still feeling great but your baby bump is showing beautifully. Plus, it helps us avoid cutting it too close to your due date!
