Meet Clare and Chayce!

I connected to this couple early this fall just days after they got engaged through my dear friend, Lauren. And to say Clare and I hit it off from the start would be an understatement! We started planning their fall engagement session right after their wedding date was officially added to my calendar!

These two met online after Clare moved to the Springfield area to start her nursing career. Clare told me that from the moment she met Chayce, she had a feeling he was the one. The icing on the cake? Chayce always says he knew when he first met Clare that he was going to marry her someday.

At the start of this fall, Chayce proposed to Clare! The surprise proposal included Clare’s brother filming the moment on Chayce’s grandparent’s dock at Lake Springfield, and Clare said yes! Then, wedding planning was in full swing! I’ve just loved getting to know this couple over the last few months, and their fall engagement session didn’t disappoint.

Their fall engagement session took place on a cloudy mid-November day just a few days after our second snowfall of the season. To say that I am OBSESSED with these two, these fall vibes, and these locations in their first outfit is the absolute truth. These are some of my most favorite fall photos this year! And for the first time being professionally photographed, I have to say that Clare and Chayce knocked it out of the park.

After the session, Clare said this – “You know you have an amazing photographer when not only does she take incredible photos… But she also lends you part of her wardrobe and fixes your hair every 5 seconds. Kara Evans, we are so lucky to have you in our lives!” The feeling is definitely mutual!
