In today’s digital age, we all have to admit that technology plays a huge role in keeping all of us connected and “plugged in”.

Day after day, I see technology impacting my business, helping me reach more of my people, and ultimately, allowing me to build relationships and serve my people. With this, I have found that it is so important to… Embrace technology!

You see, when I started this business in 2013, I probably wouldn’t have guessed that around half of my wedding consults would need to take place via a video call due to geographical distance + respect of tight schedules, but I love the ease of accessibility and flexibility. So, when I have a FaceTime consult or pre-wedding meeting with my couples, I like to call it a “FaceTime date”.  Of course, I love meeting with my couples in person, hugging them, and catching up outside of their engagement sessions… But we can all understand that sometimes that’s not possible!

No matter where my couples are, or where I am, we can connect!

Like I said, I never would have guessed that technology and tools like FaceTime would be one of the key factors to how I connect with my couples, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I’m building genuine relationships and truly loving one couple at a time. 

So, my advice?… FaceTime your photographer!
