As the year comes to an end, let’s look back on all of our engagement sessions of 2021!
Our 2021 shooting season consisted of twenty engagement sessions alongside many wedding days and next chapter sessions, too. Engagement sessions are a sweet spot in the wedding process and working with our couples. It’s time that we get to know each other better – at the session and even before the session as we plan outfits and locations. It’s also where I help our couples feel more comfortable in front of the camera! Let me tell ya, from start to finish, our couples become photo pros at these sessions!
More often than not, engagement sessions are the first time couples have been professionally photographed together. What an honor that I get that job! For the couple, that brings some nerves, excitement, and lots of planning – from locations and outfits to session inspiration and even planning photos with their pups. I love this part of my job! It’s an honor, and these sessions bring me joy!
From city skylines to grassy fields to rooftops to breweries and everything in between that you could imagine… Engagement sessions are my jam and get us even more pumped for each couples’ upcoming wedding day!
It’s true when I share that I believe photos are a special way to celebrate your engagement. And who doesn’t love more photos?! This time with our couples is truly unmatched because I get to photograph them, but more importantly, I get to know them even better as a couple and spend quality time with them before their wedding days. Like I mentioned earlier, these sessions are a sweet spot in the planning process… There’s truly something special about spending time together in person and getting to know each other more intentionally and in a super relaxed, fun environment. And if you know me, you know that I’m a talker, so I’m thankful for that gift at engagement sessions to help our couples feel more at ease and like they’re out and about with a friend.
