Oh my, I LOVED this senior session with Emma!
Over eight years ago, my husband Kyle and I began dating, and I was quickly welcomed in with open arms to his family’s dinners, holiday celebrations, and activities. I was meeting and getting to know his family while he was doing the same with mine! And in this time, I met the Waldrons – Kyle’s cousins. From the start, I knew Emma as a kind, beautiful (and I mean beautiful) girl. It’s been so fun to watch each of us grow, change, and see where life takes us over the years!
So, late this summer when Emma’s mom, Kelly, reached out to me about photographing her senior portrait session in downtown Chicago – I was 100% in! I loved that Emma wanted to travel a bit out of central Indiana where she is from to go someplace new, different, and totally unique for her senior session. LOVE it!
On the day of the session, I was blown away with the outfits Emma had chosen! The dreary Chicago day didn’t stand a chance against her style. Emma and Kelly told me of their shopping trip for senior session outfits, and they thought it was their most successful shopping trip to date – how fun for these two!
The outfits and Emma’s personality and beauty paired with the high-end, gorgeous city locations were swoon-worthy! We loved exploring the areas surrounding the Art Institute of Chicago on Michigan Avenue (oh my beautiful!) and then finishing the session at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk (hands down one of my Chicago favs)!
As you’ll easily see… Emma is a rockstar in front of the camera – she’s soft, sweet, fun, and edgy all at the same time. Goodness, show this girl some love today on the blog! Good luck with the rest of your senior year, pretty girl!
