Oh where do I begin?…
On June 18, 2016, Brianna and Tom were surrounded by over two hundred of their close family members and friends and joined in marriage. Their wedding day was especially sweet and filled with true, tender love!
Brianna and I have known each other for many years now, ever since going to the same school in junior high and being one year apart in school. Over the years we were on sports teams together and participated in various organizations with each other, too! So, when Brianna contacted me last year about photographing her June 2016 rustic wedding, I was blushing with honor!
Soon after booking their wedding date, I met Brianna and Tom for their summer engagement session. These two were so fun to watch interact in moments of fun and love throughout the session, so I knew that their wedding day would be nothing less!
As the time drew closer to their wedding day, Brianna and I enjoyed talking and planning details from the photography side of the day. Brianna and Tom were amazingly flexible, laid back, and trusting of my abilities on their wedding day, and I graciously and genuinely thank them for that.
When I asked Brianna about her wedding vendors, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail she provided. She took the time to tell me the story regarding how she found that particular vendor and the meanings behind the wedding day details she and Tom chose. I sincerely loved these stories Brianna told me as they gave me a different glimpse into their wedding day before I photographed it! It provided such a unique, genuine connection to me as a vendor to know so much about the other amazing vendors and details!
On their wedding day, Brianna and Tom were relaxed and in love. Prior to the ceremony, I loved photographing Brianna near a window in the house on site at Crazyman’s Hideaway. The portraits were beautiful and reflective of her joy before marrying the love of her life.
My favorite part of the day was their beautiful, sunny ceremony. The love was overflowing from their family and friends, and I was brought to tears multiple times while photographing this part of the day. It was amazingly beautiful to see Brianna’s grandfather, Neil, marry the two. This special person uniting Brianna and Tom was so meaningful to the couple and so many more people. I was in awe throughout these moments!
Brianna and Tom’s details throughout the day were meticulously planned and coordinated – from the florals and burlap, right down to the wood cake stands from Tom’s grandparents in Ohio – and they all photographed perfectly. At the end of the evening, their sunset photos were intensely romantic, and the best end to their beautiful day!
Brianna and Tom – Thank you for trusting me to photograph your wedding day. I will be forever gracious and thankful to have played a part in your first day of marriage!
