Since moving to Jacksonville, IL for college, I’ve connected with some of the community members through Illinois College and my photography. Gwenn is the Innkeeper at Blessings on State Bed & Breakfast just a street over from campus. I had the opportunity to take fall photos of the Bed and Breakfast in early October, and I look forward to taking more photos as the seasons change! The house is huge and phenomenal!
Valerie is Gwenn’s daughter and “Assistant Innkeeper.” She currently takes horse riding lessons at Dancing Hoofbeats just outside of Jacksonville. When they asked me to take a photos of Val with the horse she takes lessons with, I jumped at the opportunity. How fun!
The light was absolutely gorgeous that afternoon, and I loved spending some time with Valerie, her riding instructor, and her mom!
