At the end of the summer, Stephanie reached out to me about scheduling an engagement session with her fiancé Ryan, and I’m so happy to share their early fall engagement session on the blog!
These two met just over a year and a half ago and started dating shortly after. Then, this September, Ryan proposed to Stephanie (and completely surprised her), and they started planning their wedding day!
Stephanie and Ryan are locals to Kankakee county, so I loved getting to know these two during their session – talking about local favorites and local connections – and having fun along the way. On the day of this session, we had a very rainy/dreary morning, but the evening cleared enough for us – yay! The session started in downtown Kankakee, then moved to Bourbonnais, and we finished the session with a powder paint war. This was my first time photographing a powder paint engagement session war… But I think it was SO fabulous! And a unique part of Stephanie and Ryan’s engagement photos 🙂
