There is something incredibly special about your first heirlooms as a married couple, and wedding albums are just that!
Even the smallest wedding day details never get old… As a wedding photographer, it’s my goal to make sure that you never forget the big things or the smallest details on your wedding day. A few weeks ago, I designed an album for one of our couples. They told me that they wanted to choose photos for their album of all the big things and small details they never want to forget about their wedding day… Yes, yes, YES – that’s exactly how it should be, and I really couldn’t have said it better!
I absolutely agree that having digital images is AMAZING and there are so many advantages to this. But it is also incredibly meaningful to have a printed heirloom that tells the story of your wedding day, too. As a wedding photographer, I always recommend investing in a wedding album of your own! And of course, it’s okay if this doesn’t happen immediately after you receive your wedding photos back. Though I would recommend that you invest in a wedding album by your first wedding anniversary. Let me tell ya, it’s so easy to put it on your “to-do” list and forget about it!
Trust me, wedding albums are not only special for couples to have, but also for future generations within the family to love on as well!
These albums will be passed down from generation to generation. There truly is something to be said about being able to physically touch your wedding photos, flip through the pages of your heirloom wedding album, and relive the day… Letting all the feels and emotions of the day flood back to you whether you’re looking at your album one year or twenty years after your wedding day.
There should always be so much more to your wedding photos than printing a few for your home and sharing them on social media. If you can’t tell by now, I believe heirloom wedding albums. You need an heirloom wedding album because they’re one of your first family heirlooms to be cherished for years and years to come!
