As we get closer and closer to Jessica and Ashton’s first wedding anniversary, I think there’s no better time to share The Celebration Society feature of their wedding day!
I remember being in awe of the details on this wedding day when I arrived. While Jessica and I were friends long before I became her wedding photographer, I knew her style and wedding vision would culminate into a gorgeous wedding day. And it sure did! When it came to the details, this is what the bride shared…
I knew I wanted our wedding to be something no one had seen before with so many thought out details, gorgeous flowers, and simple decor. Our color palette was burgundy and dusty rose with gold. Brushstroke seemed to be the common theme amongst the cake and paper goods. We wanted our parents and family to be the center around our special day, and I think we did a great job with that. We had family wedding photos and photos of passed loved ones there with us. My moms lace from her wedding dress made a memorable gift for hers, my grandma’s, and my hankie. I can’t wait to pass that down! I also used her lace and my great aunt’s pearls on my bouquet. We did voiceovers for our first dances and had to have our dogs in the wedding, too. Our day was just perfect in every way, and I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. The details are what set it apart and they made our wedding so special!
Just a few months ago, Jessica and Ashton’s wedding feature on The Celebration Society went live, and I’m still swooning over this wedding day… Almost ONE year later! Click the photo to see more of their wedding feature!
