Studio Three-Month Milestone Photos in Kankakee | The Diaz Family

There’s something magical about watching a family grow! Having the privilege to capture these moments is something I cherish deeply as a photographer. This month, I enjoyed photographing my adorable niece, Lucy, at her three-month milestone session right here in my studio in Downtown Kankakee.

At just three months old, Lucy is already showing us who she is – vocal, expressive, and all with a bit of sass. It’s these early expressions of personality that make milestone sessions so precious.

Lucy’s big sister, Sofia, first stole our hearts back in 2018. Since Lucy was born, it’s been a joy to see parts of Sofia reflected in Lucy. While many say Lucy is Sofia’s twin, I see so much more. In her eyes and sweet smiles, I see glimpses of my sister and my dad, a beautiful reminder of the strong family ties that bind us.

Milestone sessions like these are not just about capturing how much a little one has grown physically… They are also a beautiful opportunity to document the growing personality that make each little one unique. These first-year milestone sessions offer time to pause, giving families like ours memories to hold onto as the years pass.
