Some sessions are as sweet as honey, and my most recent session with the Robinson family was exactly that. This winter, they welcomed their baby girl Rosalie, and getting to document these early days for them was such a gift. Rosalie is absolutely beautiful with her chubby cheeks and dark hair, already looking so much like her big brother Ezra.

When the Robinsons arrived at the studio, Ezra proudly announced, “I brought my baby sister. I love her.” My heart totally melted… He is the best big brother and made this session even more special with his love for his baby sister.

This session was calm, tender, and filled with all the moments you want to remember from those first days with a newborn. The quiet snuggles, tiny details, and the way a family settles into life with a new little one are the moments that pass far too quickly. These are the memories that deserve to be preserved.

I often recommend that newborn photos take place within the first three weeks after a baby is born. Rosalie’s session was a perfect example of why! During this time, babies are extra sleepy, wonderfully squishy, and so easy to gently pose and snuggle. They also change incredibly fast in those early weeks, and this timing truly is the sweet spot for capturing those fresh newborn features before they start to stretch and grow.

To the Robinson family – thank you for trusting me with yet another special chapter of your story. Watching your family grow and documenting these milestones is always an honor, and I cannot wait to see how Rosalie and Ezra continue to grow together.
