My first outdoor session of the year is in the books, and I know you remember these familiar faces, Neiry & Tyler! We met in downtown Frankfort for their spring couples session and had a blast.
Throughout the winter months and into early spring, I’m in the studio for the majority of our sessions. Wintertime in Chicagoland is no joke, so it’s such a blessing to have the studio as our home base. But I have to be honest, there’s nothing like getting back outside for those first few sessions throughout the spring. It makes my heart happy!
A couple of weeks ago, I met Neiry and Tyler in downtown Frankfort for a couples session. I’ve photographed their engagement, wedding, and family photos over the last couple of years, too! They’re lifer clients turned friends of mine, and I’m thankful for that. For this session, we celebrated their six-month wedding anniversary with photos! I loved this session idea from the start.
Downtown Frankfort is such a cute area for photos. It’s one of my favorite spots to recommend and to meet clients at if they are coming from further north in Chicagoland. There are beautiful textures and streetscapes, and the overall vibe is so welcoming. In the warmer summer and fall months, there is an adorable park nearby as well. Neiry and Tyler’s favorite coffee shop – Grounded Coffee Bar – was our first stop during their session before we made our way around the downtown Frankfort area. These first photos from the session are some of my very favorites from the entire session!
I loved this couples session with Neiry and Tyler! You know that I love celebrating life’s moments and milestones through photos, and this session represented just that.
