Engagement sessions are in FULL swing! And today, I’m so excited to share Sarah and Paul’s engagement session on the blog! I mean, just look at these two… They are ADORABLE!
These two met in June 2014 at a mutual friend’s birthday party… Sarah is a teacher and these two connected immediately as they started talking about Sarah’s job, class, and students. After sharing this moment together, Sarah told me that she knew Paul was special. Before they knew it, they were in love and engaged a few years later!
And I just love their proposal story! These two are foodies and try new restaurants on the regular throughout the city. So, back in May when they went on a regular new restaurant outing, Sarah didn’t think anything of it! They shared dinner, laughed, and enjoyed themselves at the Lincoln Park area restaurant. After dinner, they grabbed a drink on a rooftop bar and as the evening went on, these two took a walk at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk. They stopped at the iconic honeycomb, and Sarah had no idea that the proposal was happening until Paul turned to her and asked her to marry him… How very sweet!
Over the past few months, I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session! We started the session at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk (one of my personal favorites in the city!), and I loved the special sentiment the location held for this couple. And those skyline photos at the lake were breathtaking, too! My time spent with this couple was a true delight. They are so fun and comfortable to be around, and they were amazing in front of my camera!
So excited for their wedding next summer!
