Hey friends! I’m so excited to introduce you to Lauren and Chase! We met up for their Kankakee engagement photos at the start of July, and this session was a DREAM!
Not too long ago, I connected with these two through my dear friend (and florist), Michaela. And I’m forever thankful! We hit it off instantly, and now we’re eagerly awaiting their Chicago wedding day in September!
Lauren and Chase’s story goes back a little bit! They knew each other growing up and in high school, went to the same church, and even had mutual friends over the years. But, it wasn’t until they both ended up at Olivet Nazarene University as freshmen in college that they started hanging out and dating. Lauren told me they were attached at the hip from the start, and they spent undergrad growing in their relationship together. Then last December, Chase popped the question on the beach in Naples, Florida with family by their sides. I love it!
For their engagement session, we decided to start with some downtown Kankakee engagement photos and then move to Perry Farm. These are two of my favorite local gems, too! And you guys, best yet… We were blessed with the most perfect summer evening AND sunset! These two were relaxed and natural in front of the camera which made my time with them so much fun. It felt like I’ve known them for years. Now I’m even more excited for their wedding day!
