One year, a new house, and all the memories later… Nicole and Thomas celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a summer photo session, and you know I love that! I photographed their wedding day last June, so it was extra special to catch up with them this July and mark this milestone in such a meaningful way.
We spent the evening chasing the golden summer sunset, laughing, and reminiscing about their wedding day. It’s incredible how much can happen in a year, and that’s exactly why I’m such a big fan of anniversary sessions. These photos capture who you are right now, in this season of life. They capture all the love, growth, and memories you’ve built since saying “I do.”
Personally, my husband and I have made it a tradition to take anniversary photos every single year – we’re going 11 years strong! It’s become one of my favorite ways to document our story and see how we’ve changed over time. Your wedding photos will always be treasured, but anniversary photos tell the rest of the story… And that story is just as beautiful.
